PAUT Inspection Services are not capable of finding material fatigue, tubing inspections, and surface fractures/linear cracks.
PAUT is useful for corrosion detection services, corrosion monitoring, examination of composite materials and thicker welds with minimum surface preparations. Eddy current Testing requires minimum surface preparations and is capable of detecting welding flaws even if the surface is coated/painted is typically preferable in these situations.
