Visual Inspection (VI)
Our certified inspectors are trained to determine the various lengths, measurements, and quality of welded parts and components and to verify that the product meets the requirements of the specifications – whether within the military, automotive, construction, or aerospace sectors.
No matter if the product is for the military, automotive, building, or aerospace industries, our certified inspectors are trained to assess the various lengths, measures, and quality of welded parts and components and to verify that the product conforms with the specifications.
Non-destructive Testing by Visual examination in welding inspection are important to determine the weld defects which can determine by the naked eyes and/or by the supplementary visual aids of Inspection Mirror, Welding Gauge, Microscope, Profile Projector, Steel Rules and Measurement tape etc. Types of welding defects able to determine the non destructive testing examination of visual inspection methods are Welding Porosity, Blow holes, Undercut, Lack of fusion, Lack of welding penetration, root concavity etc. Welding Inspectors are either ASNT Level II Certified in Visual inspection methods or either by CSWIP 3.1/CSWIP 3.0 or AWS inspectors of welding inspection. Painting Inspection Engineers are also Qualified in Visual Examination in order to determine the painting defects of sagging, Paint missing, Orange peel, Painting blister etc. Painting Inspection Engineers Qualified In Visual Inspection are third party Inspection Engineers and are qualified either in NACE Level II corrosion Engineering or CSWIP-BGAS Painting Inspectors.
Remote Visual Inspection:
Remote Visual Inspection Techniques are used to determine the welding defects and/or painting defects by using 3D Laser scanning, Borescope Inspection, Videoscope Inspection and other advanced Remote Visual Inspection Technology .Remote Visual Inspection Techniques are cost effective and time saving to determine the dimension, corrosion survey, Flaw defects identification etc.of storage tank, Building structural inspection etc. Nowadays our Borescope Inspection and 3D Scan methodology are widely use techniques in oil gas industry, Marine Ports, Refineries etc.
